The Impact team is thrilled it’s been named Specialist Agency of the Year in what’s known as Australia’s toughest marketing awards, the 2008 B&T Awards.
In a competitive category attracting a diverse range of expert agencies, entrants were asked to demonstrate a clear line of direction and specialisation. Judges advised that Impact was the clear winner as a result of a niche business model which was “simple, straightforward and achieving strong results for its clients.”
Judges also noted Impact’s work was “exciting” and “a great example of the marketing industry moving forward”. Throughout 2008, Impact also demonstrated strong investment in its own people initiatives, outstanding business results for clients, strong creativity and excellent client retention measurement.

The B&T Awards, designed to recognise excellence across all areas of marketing, media and communications in 22 categories, are known for having the most robust and rigourous judging process in the Australian marketing communication industry. The two-stage process included finalists having to present to a judging panel (at 8.30 in the morning!) and then answer questions.
Winners were announced at a 1,000 people gala ceremony at Luna Park in Sydney on Friday 5th December with awards presented by a team from ABC’s The Chaser.
