Employee Communications Methodology

RESEARCH – INTERNAL COMMUNICATION AUDIT

Impact works with clients collaboratively and uses its established research methodology, including an internal communication audit, to create a series of relevant questions which will allow analysis of the perceptions, sentiments and behaviours of an organisations people with regard to internal communication.

We call this research “Word on the Street” (WOTS). As the name suggests, WOTS allows us to hear how much employees really understand about company strategy, how connected they feel, and what are some of the issues preventing great communication taking place WOTS generally comprises the appropriate mix of focus groups, face-to-face and phone interviews, and will cover a cross-section of all relevant divisions and teams. The Impact team works quickly with organisations to determine appropriate numbers and methods based on locations, divisions and workforce numbers.
